Adani International School, one of the premium educational institutes in Gujarat, has recently hosted the International School Sports Organisation’s (ISSO) Swimming Regional Championship. The cricketing legend and former World Cup-winning captain Kapil Dev graced the occasion and inaugurated the event. In fact, the Adani International School became the first educational institute in Gujarat to host the event. This event saw the participation of 115 young swimmers from the U9 and U11 age categories. The students represented 7 International Schools from the states.

The organisation plays a vital role in developing different types of grassroots sports in India. Through this event, the Adani International School brought the first ISSO regional event to Gujarat. It also emerged as the overall champion of the event with a total of 106 medals. This includes 19 gold in individual, 36 gold in relay, 22 silver in individual, 8 silver in relay, and 21 bronze in individual. The school achieved a total of 284 points.
